I recently had a great experience at Dennis Gym, and I want to share my thoughts! The staff members, Chin and KO were professional and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The customer service was good, and they made the process of signing up for the one-year membership package smooth and straightforward. I'm really looking forward to my fitness journey here! TLDR: value for money but you get what you pay for. Been with the gym for almost 4 years now. Here's my review - Pros: + 6 power racks, 1 deadlift platform + Plenty of equipment + Spacious + Manageable crowd at peak hours (weeknights) Cons: - Gym in general is quite dirty. When I first joined the gym 4 years ago I still see the cleaner coming, but not in the past year or so - Gym is not located on the street level, and the interior and lighting is pretty dark. Gives it an underground feel if you like that, but it's not for me - I've seen the male toilet slowly deteriorate over the years, and now 4/4 urinals are "out of service" - No shower (ok if you live nearby) - Equipment is rather rusty - Aircon is meh

The staff here are incredibly friendly and always willing to help. They make you feel welcome from day one and are happy to assist with equipment or answer questions. What really stands out is how affordable the membership is compared to other gyms in the area.

signed up for a 12mth package because the price and location is very attractive. however it is such a shame that the gym is rather poorly maintained. I have gone to the gym at various timings and I have never, not even once, seen the toilets being cleaned. as such, the toilets stink to the high heavens. be prepared to hold your breath when using the leg extension machine which is located right the male toilet. the male toilet is also poorly maintained. 3 out of the 4 available urinals are "under repair" and have been for as long as I have been a member. they also like to cut costs by not providing any toilet paper and passing off watered down dish washing liquid as hand soap. some of the machines are poorly maintained (like the leg extension machine) the leg pad is so worn out that it hurts when you do a rep. other than that, a good number of the machines are relatively new. I guess you get what you pay for. but knowing what I know now, I would have rather forked out a bit more and gone to anytime fitness

Chin trainer is knowledgeable and supportive. The gym is well-equipped that makes every workout efficient and enjoyable.

Been with the gym since their opening and have renewed a couple times. Primarily because it's within walking distance from home and the membership fees was competitive. However on the last renewal in October 2024, the gym didn't activate my access pass on the agreed date and only upon my return from travel 4 days later did I realise that I could not access the gym. It was 2 hours after I called and was locked out of the gym that they activated the pass. No apologies nor any further follow up was made. In April 2025, they informed me that my membership was expiring on 3 May 2025 - 1 year before the contracted date. I wrote to clarify with documentary evidence. No reply was given. When I returned from my travels on 19 May 2025, I realised my access pass was deactivated and I was unable to access the gym. Again no apologies nor customer recovery was offered. A mere excuse that there must be a system fault that day. So all in, the pros are low fees and 24 hour accessibility. Do not expect any customer service even when access to the gym is blocked through no fault of the customer. Equipment is dated and not well maintained. The men's toilet frequently reeked which odor permeated through the gym.
