Sumitra Yogashala

As a tourist for the week, I had a wonderful and welcoming time practising with Sumitra Yogashala. The teacher made sure I was following along well, and all in English. The studio space is lovely, and I just paid a 600rs casual fee which I felt was reasonable. Really enjoyed my classes, thank you! Have been going for my yoga classes at Sumitra Yogashala for quite some time now and it has been one of the most enriching experience. The place is great and the instructors with their warmth, commitment and so much positive energy are like a breath of fresh air in our otherwise mundane lives. It is a great space for regular and visiting people likewise to drop in for the most exhiliarating expereinces of yoga.

Joining SumitraYougshala has been a life- changing experience for me. Their dedication and encouragement not only helped me improve my physical health but also changed my mental health for the better. The teachers have extensive knowledge of yoga and you can rest assure that you are in good hands.

The best part of my day, period !!!! Apurva and Kusang are amazing teachers, the teaching style focuses not only on proper alignment for my asana practice and meditation but I've learned how to dissolve my past histories and emerge in this present moment fully activated and at peace within my body and mind. Its always great to walk into any yoga class and find genuine teachers and guides who assist you as you take your first steps into a fuller life... Sumitra Yogashala embraces you with a warm gentleness that can b found only where true art and passion resides. Maiju as she is fondly addressed is the petite but fiercely warm Guru who gently leads you to asanas u never thought youd do.... More than anything else i willl always take wth me the transformation i had in my approach to the simple things in life while visitng Sumitrs Yogashala. Heres wishing the Famliy all the best as they evolve to higher planes.

Apurva is a fantastic yoga teacher. She really takes care of her students. You will leave feeling strong but completely relaxed. Would totally recommend her to anyone new or experienced!

I have tried different forms of workout, but nothing is as satisfying as Yoga. It not only makes your body healthy and fit but also calms your mind and gives you control over your thoughts (which I think is very important). It has been almost a month since I've joined and I already see changes. My body was very stiff and unhealthy, but now it can do the different asanas better. I have better digestion. I don't overthink anymore and my skin has started to glow ( we all like that, don't we?). After every session you ll want to do more. Kudos to our amazing teachers, Kusang Aunty, Apurva di and Sankalp da who are so patient with us. When you have teachers who encourage you, who make sure you're doing each Asana right, who always smile, you do feel so much better. Just go for a class and you'll know what I'm saying. Sumitrayogashala is my happy place

Every second I spent here was truly blissful. The yoga guru's~two extremely strong women~ are always there for you. Not only does this place help you get stronger physically but also helps you find your mental peace. Literal Heaven On Earth -
