Foundation is not like other gyms, it's so much more! The staff are knowledgeable and welcoming and the small group training provides the perfect balance between Personal Training and a team culture / mentality. They team at Foundation have created a real community, with events and optional challenges that span all members - it's great fun, and everyone supports each other.
They offer advice, support and guidance on overall health and wellbeing, stress management, mental health, breathwork as well as what you do on the gym floor, and how you manage your nutrition.
While I've always played a lot of sport, I wasn't a gym bunny before joining Foundation, now I wouldn't give it up for anything!
I've been a client of Foundation for close to a year now. As a woman with PCOS & previous physical injuries, finding the right gym, who could work with the above and accommodate for my weight, was key. I initially reached out to Foundation & signed on with Ellen who instantly made me feel comfortable. Since then, I've come to find Foundation is both a gym & a community. One that holds no judgement, encourages & motivates you, promotes a positive environment & holds you accountable. I would highly recommend, the whole team (Nathan, Phil, Max & Cara) hold your best interests at heart, helps with your nutritional advice & supports you as you work towards your goals. Thanks team.
I joined Foundation Gym in May and I can honestly say it has changed my life for the better. The team of trainers are amazing and really supportive of fitness goals and help keep you accountable. The small group training classes are fantastic. Having such small classes means that you build a real community with those that you train with and everyone is very encouraging. If you want to train in a supportive environment with a great set of people then join Foundation.
I've been a member with Foundation for two years - this is the first time in my life I've consistently gone to a gym for anywhere near this long! The group experience is excellent for accountability, and the ratio of trainers to members (1 to 4) is ideal for individual attention to form and technique.
The trainers genuinely care about members' health, including nutrition and stress management, and they're are also really fun to train with. I like that there's the possibility of swapping to a different session if I can't make my regular one.
I've never been so strong as I am now, and as a woman in my middle years that's critical for better long term health outcomes.
Foundation not only provides the fitness side, it comes with overall accountability of your health topped with team spirit. The best thing about it is its a PT session but with a regular team of up to only 7 others. It just makes it all so easy and fun. You know when to show up each week, you don't have to plan your sessions or do one on your own, and you're pushed to your potential to get a quality workout 2-3 times a week, with all the adjustments and tweaks you'd expect from personalized training. Most importantly is the mindset shifts that come from the process and therefore the progress.
Went on a recommendation. Am staying because the group sessions rock and the trainers are fun and encouraging. The gym has a great feel to it and the team work you hard and support you. Give it a go
I've been training at Foundation for years, and have enjoyed the expected results like getting stronger, fitter and less stressed, but there's an added bonus, and that's the community.
The group training is so fun, and also challenging enough that you'llsee improvements every week!

I initially started PT training here with Cara, as she was my PT from another gym a few years back. I disliked the thought of group training and wasn't keen to move into a group. But once I got to know the other trainers -Nathan, Phil & Max, I felt I had nothing to fear. I've been put into a group with like minded individuals and for someone who hated going to the gym, I really enjoy it now. All the PT's are amazing to work with and only have your best interests at heart. You won't find another gym with the most genuine, caring and supportive professional PT's, who ensure you acheive your goals holistically. They are also quite fun for PT's!
