I'm very disappointed with the current condition of Slam Fitness - Gerugambakkam. While the gym has 8 air conditioners, only 2 are partially working, and even those are just running without cooling. On top of that, there's no proper ventilation, making the environment extremely suffocating, especially during peak hours.
This issue has been repeatedly reported to the management by many members, but sadly, no action has been taken. The overall maintenance is very poor, and members are left helpless after paying the full fee, as there's no refund policy or any support.
If you're considering joining this gym, I strongly suggest you either look for other options or get a written agreement that the management will refund your fee if issues like non-functional AC or poor maintenance persist.
Many current members are stuck in this situation with no resolution in sight. Be cautious before you join.

Great place to workout. It's maintained so clean. There are more hydraulic machines and treadmills.We have restrooms for male and female separately. also, there is a change room as well as a steam room. Personal trainers are available, where the fee is separate.

I've been a regular at this gym, but lately the experience has been disappointing. The air conditioning has not been working for several days, making workouts extremely uncomfortable--especially during peak hours. Proper ventilation and cooling are basic requirements for any fitness center, and it's surprising that this issue hasn't been addressed promptly.
Hope the management takes this seriously and fixes the AC soon. Until then, it's hard to recommend this place to others.

I have been working out here for the past 5 years, and now I'm forced to leave this gym because of poor maintenance.
Most of the equipment seats and dumbells are damaged. Floor mats have come out.
For the last 7 to 8 months, AC has not been working properly. Without AC, it's really difficult to work out due to the bad air circulation, which causes suffocation and bad smell inside the gym area.
When I started commenting about these issues on their INSTAGRAM page, they kept on deleting my comments, and finally, they BLOCKED me.
