I have been working with priya from sayam yoga for the past two and a half years almost. And in the past few months have been taking the prenatal yoga classes with her. To start off with I have to say, I have the deepest gratitude for priya and her efforts to make you see yourself through your body and the limits that you can push yourself to. Starting from her punctuality in starting classes on time to never failing to have or compensate a class her efforts are extremely appreciated. Prior to prenatal classes, the general yoga sessions helped me get back my flexibility and helped regain my strength to a level I was satisfied with. Post learning about my pregnancy she was one of the people I immediately reached out to for classes and like always was ever ready to understand my needs and work with it. We have been working together for the past 7 months. She structured each session catering to the needs of each trimester and helped with strengthening the core, improving flexibility and in genral helped with the body flow. Each session she explained the importance of breath in this journey and how each of the asanas has a purpose and helps the body. Apart from the asanas the breath work she helps with has a significant impact on one's mental and physical health. I have personally felt the strength and the vibration that flows through each of these sessions. As we come to the end of the prenatal yoga sessions I can't thank priya enough for the incredible amount of work she has done and the amount of help she has done for me during this time. Her patient listening, understanding of each one's need, her sharp eyes for observation of posture and quick correction top the charts. I genuinely look forward to the time I can get back to the mat post delivery and work with her again. Thank you Priya for this lovely work that you do.
