Planning to take the most common plan with them(the branch opposite city heart) ? Read this before you dive into a nightmare... Join only if you can handle miscommunications and can stay resistant to pressure for opting for a premium plan or a personalised diet (they aren't expensive :) . if i go into details, the personalised diet costs the same as your general subscription for 5 months only(approx 5k) and just 10k a month for personal training, the one they force you to opt for, that too for atleast 3-4 months. I joined Pro Ultimate Gyms, Landran Road, Kharar branch a month ago with a general training (GT) membership. The gym has good equipment and a clean environment, and some trainers seem knowledgeable and friendly. However, my overall experience with the coaching and support has been disappointing. Despite promises, regular body composition tests are infrequent and mostly used as a way to push expensive personal training (PT) and diet plans. As a GT member, I've found basic guidance on workouts and nutrition to be minimal or delayed. My trainer has repeatedly pressured me to buy costly PT and personalized diet plans, without offering meaningful advice within my subscription. When you visit them and inform them about your interest in joining, they say they test your body after regular intervals, but forget to mention that you'll have to ask for it each time, justified, but you will have to pay a fortune just to get your report interpreted by your trainer about what's going on with your body, your General Training won't even cover something we call bare minimum as to what went wrong. To ask what happened, they either ignore you or force you to take a diet plan or personal training or they won't even touch your report, let alone telling what's happening. When I asked for a general diet plan or any detailed feedback on my progress report showing some negative changes, the responses were vague, and I was urged to purchase PT to get any clarity. This sales-driven approach overshadows the value of the GT package and makes it difficult to get the help beginners really need. If you're considering this gym, be aware of the aggressive upselling tactics and limited basic coaching unless you opt for additional paid services. The facility is good, but the member support and transparency need serious improvement to justify the costs. I hope this feedback encourages the management to provide better service and genuine guidance to all members, regardless of their membership level. GOOD LUCK FELLAS IF YOU STILL PLAN TO JOIN :)
