Gym Italy

Super friendly gym. Price for single entry is EU15. Guy with the beard speaks excellent English, very helpful and friendly. Came on a Monday morning and it was so quiet. They only have 1 squat rack, but no one else used it the whole time I was there. Loads of machines and dumbbells. Separate functional fitness room too. The contact details online aren't totally up to date, so I attach a photo of the right details. Not an advanced gym, but got all the basics if you're looking for a work out while in Bari.

Need to write this review maybe owners will take attention and change something 1. Personnel is really amazing, friendly, helpful and most of them speak English. 5 Stars for the personnel 2. Worst part of the gym is changing rooms, you are forced to change your clothes in shower cabinets, where the floor is wet, you can't avoid getting your shoes or socks wet while changing clothes, in common area you can't change clothes because there is no benches and no doors for changing. 3. Not enough machines to work out for your legs, no glutes machine, nothing for hips abductor muslce groups. The only one abductor that exists has max 8 kg (8level) to work on it, which is not enough. So in total paying 79 euros per month and not having these issues solved I can't give more than 1 star review.

By the entrance you will always be welcomed with a smile and worm greetings by master of the house Mauricio. You will be helped with any issues and all your questions will be answered. All the personal trainers are nice, friendly professionals with university degrees. If you are an English speaker, the English-speaking trainer will be assigned to you. It's never crowded, so you can have plenty of space for yourself. All the facility are brand new, the gym was open in 2019. But I must say that the gym Italy is the most friendly place in Bari you will meet here people with big muscles but even hearts. No matter how many times a week I am going to the gym, I always want to come more and more. Great place to find motivation for workout and wonderful friends.

Great gym for the traveler. They have a very affordable day pass option and an amazing selection of gym equipment (looks to be close to new). Much better than most of the gyms I have used while traveling. The staff are amazing and very accommodating. Facility is very clean - including the rest rooms and showers.

EU15 day pass. Dumbbells to 50. One squat rack. Fair amount of weight lifting machines. Serious lifters may find it lacking, but will be ok for most people. Expensive for what is available. Location is hidden at the end of the alley under their Gym Italy sign. Appears that on Sunday the front gate is closed, and you have to enter through the back alley to the south.
