What a wonderful time I've had at Adishakti Yogashala! The 300 HR YTTC is challenging, but you are surrounded by the most amazing caring people. I'm so greatful to have been here, they absolutely work with the best and most experienced teachers.

I spent a month in July at the Yogashala getting my TTC and it was a life changing experience. I ended up being the only student that month and they were super accommodating and attentive, constantly making sure I was more than ok. I'm also super grateful they didn't cancel me last minute because it was low season and the other 2 people didn't show up -- I believe I ended up costing them money...
The teachers and staff were very kind to me, and they became good friends, they got me a cake for my birthday... I could write nice things for hours. I even got hurt after a chakrasana vinyasa in Ashtanga class (I came with a little neck injury and I got a little too excited...) the doctor came to see me and I got the necessary ayurvedic treatments so I could resume my physical classes asap. They really are the best!
The place is beautiful, clean and super peaceful, and the food was delicious. It's only a few minutes away from the cliff in a very walkable location, by the tuc tuc station, a convenience store, a bookstore and a few restaurants.
I had so much fun. I loved staying at the Yogashala, hangout with everyone and pick their brains. I'm a lucky one and I hope I can go back soon for my next teacher training. Thank you! <3

My friend and I spent a couple of days in Adishakti Yogashala. The location was good, its close to the beach, and the atmosphere of the hotel was really calm and friendly, and welcoming, we liked the beautiful garden very much. The communication and the check-in was easy and quick, they were very helpful and flexible. We had the opportunity to take a hatha yoga class that we enjoyed very much, the teacher was very kind and professional. We are grateful for this experience!

I wouldn't recommend this place for the Ayurveda treatment. It's a Yoga-school. It's not good organised and the main focus is on the yoga students. Unfortunately the people who are actually running this place, I think it's three men at the moment, are not interested in what their clients might need. They don't provide a working management and wouldn't like to talk to their costumers whenever they have a request or complain and in our case the man responsible was not even there and the second "boss" felt not responsible for those who are coming for the treatment. The oil massage is next to the yoga class. So it's never quiet. And there is no shower. Sometimes there is meditation sometimes not. It's mostly according to the schedule of the yoga student's. Our accommodation was is in an other building. It was not very pleasant to walk back covered in oil after the treatment. Nevertheless I have to mention that the doctor and the therapists are wonderful people with good knowledge. I wish they could do their job in a proper building where all the facilities are given. Also our Hatha-Yoga teacher in the morning was good. The yoga class was challenging. For beginners it might be difficult, for intermediate it's perfect.

Such a lovely and welcoming place. It feels like a second home to me with a beautiful yoga shala. Can highly recommend it to anyone. They also have Ayurveda treatments which were amazing, so was the food. Loved the drop in classes as well! Great teachers that are always willing to go an extra mile to explain everything in detail and make you feel comfortable. I arrived sick and needed to see a doctor and they all took such good care of me. A big thanks to all of you!!!

Such an amazing time spent at Adishakti, they really make sure you're taken care of in every aspect. The knowledge learned is seriously so valuable, and you feel every ounce of the dedication, passion, and love that goes into your experience from every single one of the teachers and staff. It's not just a month of yoga teacher training, it's a school of life, and a month surrounded by the most warm and loving souls. After days of researching for a yoga school for my teacher training, I gave up on reading all the reviews and finding that things were not quite right. I stumbled upon Adishakti Yogashala on google and despite not reading any reviews, I booked the course as I felt something was pulling me to this place. The emphasis on ayurveda in the syllabus was one of the main reasons I chose the place too which I've learned a lot about including ayurvedic cooking and massages.
Everything there is done with much love and compassion. The teachers have a wealth of knowledge and put their heart on their sleeves when they teach. The food was cooked with positive energy and healthy ingredients which made our bodies ready for the 1 month course. The rooms were simple and clean for a peaceful night's sleep. The people running the accommodation and the school were hard working and passionate. They truly made my stay a wonderful one and I'm looking forward to coming back for my 300 hour teacher training!
