Delighted with my membership with the Dungeon Lifting club at Akkulam. Why? 1. PROFESSIONAL TRAINERS Two things really stood out for me. First and foremost, each and every trainer I have been working with have give out a friendly vibe right from the day 01 onwards. Secondly, instead of some machine workouts and weight training, my trainer, (Ginan Gireeshan aka Mr Trivandrum 2024) paid very close attention to my body condition, every injury, the strength that I have and even have closely worked with external rehab centers to get me into a healthy state. 2. WORLD-CLASS FACILITY I love the cleanliness and the conditions in which the equipments have been maintained. Parking space, drinking water, A/C and more. Excellent ! Going to the gym is now my most favorite thing to do. 5-stars to DLG; I am so glad I clicked on the Instagram reel that led me for a trial workout and the rest is history. Highly recommended!

How often do you see the billboard of a gym featuring their very own trainers? Most often you see the pictures of movie actors or some professional body builders. I have been training at the Dungeon gym Akkulam for the last 1.5 years supervised by the able trainer Radhika. Before joining the gym I was into cycling and running. Joining the gym was to take this to the next level. On the first day itself I told my trainer about my intention and she tailored my training accordingly. The results are also very much visible from running 5 kms at the events in the city I have graduated to half marathons now. More importantly because of the due diligence we have managed to keep the injuries at bay. During my time at Dungeon on more than a couple of occasions as an IT professional and as a parent I have requested for a change in my gym timings. This flexibility has contributed a great deal in the longevity of my gym journey. All along Radhika has been a fantastic trainer whenever you slack a bit she will gently nudge you to come back on course. She constantly follows up if you don't make it to the gym on your committed days of the week. The equipments at the gym are top notch and are maintained really well. Separate sections for cardio and weight training are lighted up very well and comfortably airconditioned. Due to the fact that the trainers themselves are keeping themselves really fit all year long they can very well relate to what each of their trainees are going through every day. This makes their training regimen very practical. Definitely recommended.
