Vaishnavi was my yoga instructor during second trimester and she was really helpful in getting me comfortable with prenatal yoga. She helped me understand what I can do and not do and was also helpful with any physical discomforts I met (including sleeping postures) and would provided advice whenever necessary. Yoga has always been a part of my life since childhood. Through this value-added course in Yoga, I have been able to learn much more about it. This course is aimed at much more than just physical fitness. I have been able to successfully calm my mind in stressful situations through breathing exercises and meditation. I have always desired to practice meditation but didn't have proper guidance and was unable to create an atmosphere. Well, this course has introduced me to it and now I can meditate on my own. One of the benefits I can mention is that you connect to yourself which is quite challenging these days. The breathing technique has come to help me with my health issues. I have also noticed that my energy levels used to be low by the time I reached home but after the course, it isn't the same. I feel charged after the class as if the morning has just begun. Lastly, I would like to quote " Yoga Karmasu Kaushalam" which means Yoga is excellence in action. I was awestruck by this when I realized that every action that we perform can be done with the help of yoga to excel at it. I have been doing the same since then and hoping for my friends who are doing the course to follow the same. I express my deep gratitude to the organizers of the yoga class. It was a much-needed course since students face a lot of issues not just concerning health but mentally and emotionally. This course is a panacea. Sincerest thanks to @Vaishnavi (Yoga Tr) for introducing us to the journey of yoga which we have just begun considering there is a lot more for us to learn.
