If you are in South Goa you got to practice yoga at UURJA HOUSE. With the traditional roof tiles, red floors and yellow walls it invokes peace. Apart from walk in sessions, weekly and monthly packages, they offer the space for self-practice too. Yoga mats, belts and blocks are provided.
Yoga classes every day at 8 am, 10 am, 5 pm. 350 for a one time session discounts for a week or a monthly pass. Fantastic experience! Great equipment and wonderful teacher.
Bought my first Uurja mat after being educated of its firm grip, durability and authentic eco friendly cork used as the base material. Have to say it is all of the above and more! It feels, sturdy, supportive during practice and most importantly very natural on the touch! Being a senior yoga coach and having used several mats over the years have to say that I highly recommend this beautiful mat for anyone looking for that perfect option! Also like the fact that it comes with the guidelines for the hands and feet placement during asana practice alongwith a lovely sling for easy carriage. Love my mat!
The Uurja cork mats are one of a kind not found in any other yoga centre except Uurja House. They are comfortable and are not slippery making yoga a memorable experience. Sudarshan is an amazing yoga instructor who is very well versed with all different types of yoga techniques and who makes yoga enjoyable and benificial. My father Sunil is there everyday in the 8 am batch and his health has really improved with this yoga.
I have been using the yoga mats by Uurja naturals and it has been so stable and steady! The mat itself gives you such a sense of balance and keeps you grounded for your practice. Instead of buying the mats available on the market, which I did use for a really long time, would definitely recommend switching to these cork made mats.
