Kalyani Town Club

One of the oldest club in the city. Needs attention for development as it is losing its popularity.

The gym in town club is the real deal, when it comes to bodybuilding gym. This gym has a no nonsense, hardcore, straight to the point approach. There has been several renowned bodybuilders made in this very gym, most of whom are national champions. A place for old school bodybuilding work ethic lovers, and not for fancy gym goers, who work out for Instagram and Facebook. This apparently dungeon like gym is a dream gym for those who love pumping iron.

During Durga puja this year, the members of this club did not let people(even children) in when it was raining heavily outside accompanied by thunder and lightning even though they had a huge space inside. They chased out the people who were trying to find shelter, like dogs and shut the doors upon their faces. They would not care if someone dies due to the heavy thunder and lightning. Apparently,their clubhouse comes first, human lives come second. The management lacks humanity. Would have not even given it a star if it was possible... Totally hated it.

This is an old place for gathering of young and old persons on th town. Practically this was established by Chief Functionary Secretary and Chairman of the then time Mr. Alok Banerjee, in 1960's it's a Non Governmental Organization. Kalyani Town Club is a non-profit organisation, established in 1960 that works primarily in the domain of Child & Youth Development, Gender, Education, Sports, Business & Finance, Health and Art & Culture. Its primary office is in Kalyani, West Bengal.

Not bad.....I was the contestants of a music competition the name called Banga sanskriti utsab kalyani town club....
