The owner is so friendly. Has a good chat, very welcoming. I'm a big fan of free weights and not using machines. There is lots of space for movements with bars/DB and body weight. There is not many machines. So a good understanding of movements or a PT could benefit for new members. For me it's exactly what I enjoy. Not too busy, lots of room. Plenty of weights.

I enjoy the variety of weight strengthening exercises within the group and the group unknowingly help me to keep motivated, the gym is spacious and clean and Marcus is a perceptive instructor, asking crucial questions. Since then, I have made a big effort to get the right amount of sleep due to my work schedule, still working on eating the right amount of protein daily, and reduced my chocolate consumption big time. I would recommend BuildaBody Mt Cook cause the people are friendly and it has a positive vibe.

Just finished a month training with these guys. I'm so stoked I joined up and will absolutely continue. The trainers are just so lovely, the clients come in all shapes, sizes, levels of strength and fitness and there is zero judgement. I'm in my mid 40s and didn't think gyms were my style but this is 40 minute classes, you're guided each step of the way and motivated to do your best throughout. I'm feeling fitter, stronger, sleeping better, have way more energy and better general quality of life. And that's only a month. Super flexible hours that you can make work with your preferences/commitments. Do this!
