All around Groovy place to get your sweat on! Lots of variety! Great staff! I worked out for 6 hours because time flies when you're having fun! All ages are encouraged to come and work out! I'm 53 and it is NEVER too late to start!

The current General Manager (Vanessa) at this location is truly as incompetent as she looks. Not only does she not take her job seriously, she also doesn't show any real interest for any member concerns. I thought Planet Fitness as a company heavily valued customer service. However, it is clear as day that the value of customer service does not apply to management here. In addition to the horrible effort towards direct support and assistance to many members such as myself, I have observed that this Club especially does not practice what they preach. You will walk past signs and constant reminders that all hold no weight when it comes to the maintenance of this location. For example, did you know that members are not permitted to leave their belongings in the lockers overnight. That would come to you as a surprise if you've ever visited this location as you will notice that some lockers are often occupied for months at a time despite the owners never having returned for them. This as a result, leaves a limited amount of lockers for people who genuinely want to use the gym on a day to day basis. This is unfair, and a far different experience compared to the Planet Fitness on Metropolitan who establish their policies and take them seriously. This avoids confusion amongst members, avoids unnecessary conflicts and penalties on our accounts, and so on. I truly hope that there will be an update in the area of management at this Jamaica Ave location, as I have many friends who frequent this location, this is the most convenient time and travel option as well. But clearly General Management can care less about the members and their needs at the moment, and it is super unfair as I put a lot of money aside towards this membership.

I often enjoy visiting this location however on Tuesday morning around 11:27am I had an unpleasant experience with the two ladies at the front desk. The issue I was having was the staff member unwilligness to help. The two ladies were not helpful in any kind of way and they didn't even attempt to assist me. And were unfriendly in the interaction. It made me feel uncomfortable and not want to come back to this location again.

I honestly really like coming to the gym. The workers are always friendly. I actually had an issue today with my payment and the manager was so friendly to me was so helpful. I believe her name was Vanessa. She was so nice and I really appreciate her hospitality and being patient with me

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!! I moved states and I've been trying to cancel my gym membership for over 2 WEEKS while they play on my phone saying that they were going to cancel it as long as I sent an email. At first they were acting like they didn't even see my email but then they said they got it, was going to cancel my membership and call me back (I never got a call back). Well last night, 8/21/25 I get an email that they charged me TWICE for a membership I BEEN confirmed I wanted to cancel. So I call them again today and they're saying they don't give refunds, they have to speak with the GM and hung up on me with a nasty attitude. Once my partner got on the phone with them and had to get rude, they finally decided to cancel my membership with still NO REFUND! Mind u they took $51.38 out of my account. Save your time and your money when it comes to this location. Nobody in there wants to do their job and all they do is talk to one another! If I could give 0 stars I would! Now I have to go the extra mile to get my money back. The customer service in there is terrible and they don't care when it comes to them charging you for a membership you don't even want
