Unfortunately, I cannot even evaluate the Muay Thai training itself and its trainers, only the attitude of the club janitor who collects fees for training. As during every trip around the world, this time in Bari I wanted to see what Muay Thai classes look like here. So I went to the club a few minutes before the training started. When I wanted to pay for admission, the janitor told me that the ATM card reader had not been working since the morning. So, in front of me (unfortunately, he only thought of it in the evening.), he decided to call support and try to solve his problem. I asked him if I could start training and pay for it after it was over, when he had fixed his card reader. Unfortunately, he said he would not let me in until he had fixed what was not working. So I waited patiently for a third of the training session, hoping that I would be able to take part after all. In the end, it turned out that this pathetic janitor couldn't fix anything and told me to come back another time. So I wasted almost half an hour getting to the club and another half hour watching his incompetence. I cannot imagine such a situation anywhere else I have trained, whether at my club in Poland or at clubs in Thailand, no one would cause such problems for someone who wanted to train in the section! It was extremely unprofessional to treat a customer that way. I would also like to add that I found information on the club's website stating that the first 'trial' training session costs 10 euros. And their janitor wanted to rip me off for 15 euros! That is why I strongly advise everyone against using the services of a club with such embarrassing janitor at the reception desk. EDIT: In their response, the club wrote to me: "You were there and could have figured it out yourself, since you heard the call we were making to try to resolve the issue." Firstly, I wasn't there to solve your problems. That's what you hire a janitor to do. Secondly, if you wanted me to do it for you, you should have asked me first what price I would charge for this job. Thirdly, I joked about a discount after waiting half an hour to get to the rest of the training session, but the janitor didn't get my irony.
