Grace Kathak Dance Academy

Fortunate enough to have found a good Kathak Dance teacher. Since it is a North Indian dance form, it's difficult to find teachers who are well trainer and teach authentic Kathak Dance form. You can only opt to learn Bharathanatyam and other South Indian dance forms in Kerala. Or else, opt to learn Kathak online, which isn't a great option for beginners in my opinion. Always good to have the teacher physically present in the room as you. Vaani Mam has spent over 8 to 10years dedicated to learning this art form. And, you can join her classes in Cochin. Luckily for me I moved to Cochin a few months ago, and as soon as I moved here I immediately had to join for the dance classes! Always wanted to learn Kathak.

Vaani ma'am is a teacher right out of one's dreams. The theoretical explanations that she shares during the lessons, the experiences that she narrates as well as the grace with which she herself performs add to the charm of her class.
