Tunga river front park

Tunga River Front Park in Shivamogga is a nice and peaceful place near the Tunga River. Many people like it for walking, relaxing, and spending time with family. It's clean, has greenery, and looks beautiful, especially during sunrise or sunset. There's no official star rating, but visitors say it's a good spot to enjoy nature. It can get crowded on weekends and holidays.

Beautiful, picturesque,well maintained. The Tunga river front park is becoming one of the most visited places in Shivamogga.Theneatly laid walk path offers a long-lasting happiness for those health conscious daily walkers and joggers. It has truly become the pride of Shivamoga.

This rather less mentioned place turned out to be a hidden gem, worth visiting not just for locals but even for tourists. The place is maintained really well, with a lot of murals, sculptures and greenery. There are also a lot of facilities like the gymnasium, children's playground, rock climbing structures and outdoor gym. Runs a long way, probably around 3km making it a great place for a morning walk or a run. Also, a nice place to bike with the bicycles on rent at the park. There was very little water in river in Feb, and enveloped in early morning fog, but it must be beautiful during/after the monsoons. It's a shame the park is open only till 6PM, as it seemed like a wonderful place for an evening or night stroll.
