Santhekatte Bus Stop

No proper bus stop due to ongoing underpass work. Buses stop on the highway blocking traffic and the drivershave no proper sense of driving.

A significant issue at this bus stop is the lack of a proper designated stopping area for buses, primarily due to ongoing construction of an underpass nearby. Buses often have to halt in the middle of the road or at non-designated spots, causing confusion and potential safety hazards for passengers trying to board or disembark. The auto stand, which is usually a convenient option for further travel, is currently quite far from the bus stop due to road repairs. This adds an extra layer of inconvenience for commuters, especially those carrying heavy bags or with limited mobility. The distance and the current condition of the roads make it difficult to seamlessly switch from bus to auto rickshaw.

For some reason Maps wants me to rate this bus stop. So I will rate it with 5 stars for no reason.

AUTO STAND SCAM ALERT!!! Do not opt for auto unless you confirm metre price with them. They will put Metre and later inform it's 1 and Half based on Metre Price. One of the easiest scams happening at this Auto Stand. Paid 100 rupees, Metre was 65 and distance travelled was 1.7km. One of the worst experiences ever. Hope this helps others.

Very traffic prone area. People need to be careful around this place since vehicles maybe come from any direction and the traffic police authority never taken care in keeping public safe. Apart from that, you will get public transports in every 2-3 min. The auto rickshaw stand is also near by.
