DELAMPADY YOGA PRATHISTANA

I have been learning yoga under the guidance of Guru Gopalakrishna Delampady since the corona pandemic. I came to know about this yoga institution through a friend. Though I was familiar with some basic yogasanas, Sir patiently corrected my postures and taught me the right way of practicing them, including understanding the contraindications. He encouraged me to participate in yoga competitions--something I had never imagined or even thought about before. Under his guidance, I have not only improved in yogasanas but also learnt pranayamas, mudras, chakra meditation, and colour therapy. What makes him truly stand out is his selfless service. In a world where everything comes with a price tag, he teaches yoga completely free of cost. During the pandemic, he started free online classes, and to this day, he continues them. This has helped many people like me, who live far away from Mangalore, to benefit from his teachings. He is a true gem--a rare and inspiring person. I feel deeply grateful to be his student.

Excellent training by yoga guru delampady sir.He takes personal interest in each and every student. His motivational and inspirational guidance will make the learners get engrossed in yoga. Even online classes look so real and once we join sirs classes his inspirational words will make us committed.

Today at yoga center it was a different feeling. pleasant and cool morning in yoga session Guruji on the occasion of navarathri fourth day started chakradhara session while ending, which I personally felt energetic and calm. It was really a nice experience with guruji guided session. Thank you guruji. June/July 2024 we did Chardham Yatra comfortably with climbing kedar and yamunotri with minimum strain and enjoyed the Himalayan environment. I strongly believe that it wasn't possible to have Yatra with this much easier without yoga practice. For me it's one year anniversary at Delampady yoga prathistana and this one year of yoga has given us good health. Earlier I was not practicing yoga and went Kailash and Manasa sarovar struggled due to high altitude problems. This time with guidance and blessings of guru Yogarathna Gopalkrishna Delampady we were comfortably finished high altitude Yatra with ease. Thanks to Delampady yoga prathistana and yoga rathna Gopalkrishna Delampady guruji on this auspicious occasion of Guru Poornima. Sri gurubhyo namaha.

Thank you so much Guruji for teaching me different yoga poses. Now I am attending your online yoga classes from 5.30 to 7AM. I am feeling relaxed.

This is an online program which I & my family have benefited a lot since past 2 years plus. This is in addition to the direct classes we attended in 2015 as well. Very simple, straight forward & effective way of demonstrated & explained clesses makes it very easy to comprehend & practice. As a student of this "prathistana" ,i learnt many things about "yoga", that yoga is not only the exercise but also it helps us to balance mental health and physical health ,it completely changes our mind set about exercise. Sir is excellent yoga teacher

My yoga journey with Shri Delampady Gopalkrishna Sir has been very fulfilling. I started out with severe knee pain but as I have started attending his sessions I noticed I am more mobile now. My overall health has also shown significant improvement. Even though his sessions are online, he is able to observe every student carefully and point out observations and improvements. Many of us are from different time zones, yet attend his sessions due to the immense benefit.
