kathua main market, it seems like i was traveling through a small market . It's a small nd easily accessible market located in middle of the city ... People do visit there on daily basis to buy things like , clothes, stationary, food items , jewellery, gifts , sports items & Medicine, almost everything which you need in a normal daily life ... Shiva temple in the middle of streat which attracts a large population towards it during festivals makes its narrow streets even more crowded ... Market is very busy during evening hours, and people do enjoy food stalls some of them never disappoint in taste ... A statue of freedom fighter and the tricolor hoisted in the center of the square, which according to me is the most beautiful site of the place ...

Food was excellent. Budget friendly. Ambience was not good.

Located at the centre of city, It has many ways to main market. You can find everything within this place. Might be overwhelming for non locals but this is heart of Kathua.

A busy typical North Indian market ready to meet the requirements of the local population in all respects. It has almost all domestic needs related services and goods available during the business hours. Well maintained and managed, with adequate space for parking, courtesy in the shopkeepers and friendly nature. Overall an excellent experience.
