The Pereiras Goan Villa

The stay is very good, clean. location hard to reach. Not recommended for old, need to climb 40 steep steps to reach the location no lift or any accessibility. You have to carry ur belongings on ur own. No proximity to any thing do not go in Taxi.

I would like to clarify that we were not asking to give us access to your additional locked room, infact this family room was very spacious and lovely (my son even mentioned that we own such a room). But the issue was the access by your hostess to the locked room was not done through the main door or even with our knowledge but rather through some other way we were not aware about which took us by surprise when she finally came out of that door to serve us our ordered breakfast. I hope you got my point, nothing personal with her or your setup. Also, would like to inform you that i have not received any invoice/bill for our stay yet as you had mentioned of posting it. Original review The villa looks good and is 10-12 min away from the Dabolim airport but in an residential area with no taxi services, market or restaurants closeby. The room was spacious and well furnished with everything that would be required. The hostess was cooperative on the checkout day to warm our pack of food on request. But this missed a 5 star rating for the following reasons - 1) The room has 2 secret doors which can be accessed by the caretaker/owner in the absence of guests without our knowledge as there's no latch from the inside so it doesn't make sense even if we have the key for the main door. Moreover, one would never know if someone is sitting behind the so-called locked doors and listening to our conversations, etc. This came to us as a shock when we realised it and our children were not comfortable seeing the upstairs door without a latch from inside. 2) The hostess need to learn being courteous in conversation, her way of instructing us was quiet rude especially if you tell your guests on your first contact that they should not disturb the other room since those people are her neighbours (special people). This sounds insulting to your guests without any reason!! We hardly entered the room without any noise, etc and this is being told to us for what reasons, and many such other ways of talks which lacked courteousness. 3) Despite asking for taxi service number till the end i wasn't provided with it but rather asked for what and where you want it for. That was strange that we cannot talk to the drivers directly. 4) Alongwith the payment we fulfilled all their formalities yet did not receive a bill for our payment despite making requests. That's not professional at all when you are paid in full. These experiences and the overall experience at Goa makes us feel that Goa is no more as it was years back. The people now here are money minded and lack sincerity and courtesy be it the drivers or agents or hoteliers. Need to rethink whether one should visit Goa again and it also reflects the disinterest of Goa tourism dept!!

We went to this place some three years back as a place near to the Goa Airport as we did not wanted to waste our time in travelling to far North or South before deciding as which way we should go. It was a very calm & serene kind of home stay. Giving full vibe of a modern goan village. I think I have not met the owner as at that time she was occupied in some work but still we did not felt that there was any problem.

We really enjoyed our stay in pereiras goan villa. The room is big and clean , the location is great with very nice view and in a calm area. The commun cuisine is good to share a meal inside the house. Close to the train station and also to the airport. There are shops not far from the house.

Rooms are ok, but no room service available as it is home stay. Location wise is also OK, walkable from railway station.
