Perform Better Fitness Center

One of the best Gym's in Bahrain. Experienced staff and friendly environment, with professional equipment and amenities.

I decided to check out this gym because it was recommended by a friend. My review will be broken into pros and cons. Pros-The gym was extremely clean. Bathrooms were well maintained and had tissue and clean showers. Gym equipment were limited but were well maintained and clean. A finger print system was used to enter the gym and I thought this was very convenient, practical, and modern. The gym also had a large steam room to relax and unwind after a workout. I did meet another client who works as an accountant/auditor who was very kind and friendly and really tried to welcome me. Cons-The biggest issue this gym faces is customer service and interaction. First impressions actually matter and I felt so out of place when I attempted to register on the first day. The man at the front desk didn't greet me or say welcome to the gym. He didn't explain the packages or offers. He just pointed to a guy and told me to go with him because he will show me around. The customer service didn't improve on the second day when I tried to sign up for a month. The guy at the front desk held his head down and mumbled stuff and I could tell he literally didn't want to speak to me. On the third day, this guy became confrontational and rude and just downright discourteous. I think this is a really good gym with lots of potential but management needs to invest in training and staff development. Excellent human relation skills are important in such a competitive industry. The manager did refund my fee and promised to investigate the issues I raised. He was prompt and responsive but in the end I felt this one guy created more stress than was necessary at a gym. The gym is a place to relax and unwind and this guy made my short stay very uncomfortable.

Great gym, all the equipment you'd ever need whether you're a novice or expert. They also offer high quality personal training. Prices are very reasonable. Hidden gem, get in while you can.

One of the best gym I have ever seen in Bahrain. Trainers are excellent and I love the group activities the instructor see each and every one if they are doing the exercises which has made me healthy and fit.
