Location wise the place is situated at center of the city. As per the standard the rooms comparing to the prices are okay. However, if you are looking for hospitality and well behaved surroundings, AVOID BORAIL VIEW. Restaurant staffs are high with attitudes and they talk as if millionaires. With such ugly faces if someone spits venom, better to avoid. If the hotel changes few of their staffs, the place will rock for sure.
Visited Hotel Borail View Regency on 21-10-2025 for dinner. The food quality and taste was very bad. Chicken seems to be spoiled. They had a very limited menu on festive season. The behavior of the person sitting in the reception and the lady who was controlling the number of visitors inside the restaurant were very rude. This is truly an unprofessional behavior from the staffs of Borail View Regency.
Everything about this place is so good. The taste of food, the calm and bright atmosphere, the quality of service. The service personnel are very welcoming and hospitable.
One side of the hotel does not have windows. It's very weird. A hotel which positions as a premium hotel does not have windows in the room. I requested for a room with a window but they said it is not available for the deluxe room category. You pay 4000 rupees for a room and there is no window. Otherwise the rooms are clean and good. Food and services are very good. Some may like that they play Hindu devotional songs in the restaurant during breakfast time.
Nice hotel, very professional staff, all the required amenities are there inside the hotel like a restaurant, gym, bar, spa etc, Rooms are very good with big windows for light to come in. Food is equally good with a wide range from indian to continental, etc, only thing missing in the in-room dining menu( I don't know about the restaurant, though) was the local cuisine which should have been included so people prefer local cuisine. But overall, it was a great experience with well trained, courteous staff.
