What a great yoga class with such a qualified teacher called Wasim. The yoga center has really good and new equipment. Besides yoga you got also introduction in meditation. Wasim shares interested ideas and thought about living with us. All in all I found his class to be very refreshing and inspiring. Thank you!!!

I went to this yoga class and the teacher started touching me in excess from the very first moment. I saw that he assisted other students without touching them as much as me. A friend of mine, also Western, experienced the same some days after. He even offered us a private massage after class and took advantage of the moment to touch deeper. Although he has wide yoga knowledge I had to stop attending because his behavior was non-professional and abusive. In case you decide to attend his classes, please be careful and put boundaries.

The yoga classes by Wasim are of great quality. The pedagogy is interesting and Wasim adapts to each student according to the personal level. We feel quickly a progression thanks to the help and the advice of Wasim. Thank you for sharing with us.
If you can, don't hesitate to come and try!

Don't miss an opportunity to take a class with Wasim. Whether you're a complete beginner or yoga teacher back home, you will learn and enjoy so much. Wasim teaches not only yoga technique, but also how to meditate and breathe, relax, heal, and strengthen the body, and the philosophy of religion and local Ladakhi culture. You can pay whatever you want, although the recommended amount is 300 rupees (certainly worth it for a 2-hour class with lots of individual attention). Wasim will even stay afterwards to work with you on specific issues or injuries you have, and even help you arrange tourist activities around Ladakh! Make sure to text him before to confirm the time. Truly an amazing experience. We went once, then came back every morning we could while in Leh.

This yoga centre runs an early morning class and a late afternoon class and I tried both.
All equipment is provided (mat, cushion, blocks, blanket) and the studio is spacious.
Teachers are well trained and enthusiastic. Yoga style seems to be a blend of vinyasa, hatha, pranayama, guided meditation, and I would say that both novices and more advanced would be able to do this class.
The French yoga teacher had a lovely relaxing voice. Classes are reasonably priced. I would definitively recommend.
